Bella Cookie Company co-founder, Jules, was diagnosed with Celiac Disease at the age of 35. Having felt ill after each meal for so long, the diagnosis of Celiac Disease appeared to be a blessing. But, then came the realization that there are limited options for gluten free foods and those that are available have limited taste!
A love of cookies and a deep passion for helping others with Celiac has driven Jules and her husband, Charles to start Bella Cookie Company. Simply put, they have found the best gluten free cookies available! Their goal is to exceed your expectations of what a gluten free cookie should taste like and continue providing you with gluten free and regular gourmet items (for those who aren’t lucky enough to have to eat gluten free!) Currently all products are handcrafted in Australia.
Our Australian factory produces Gluten Free and NON Gluten Free cookies (in separate facilities). If you are looking specifically for Gluten Free cookies, please refer ONLY to the Gluten Free Collection. All Gluten Free cookies are listed in this collection and are clearly noted Gluten Free. If a cookie is not noted Gluten Free, then it is not a gluten free cookie. Please contact us for further questions.

The Byron Bay Cookie Company is BRC & HACCP accredited and won the NSW Telstra Small Business Award in 2001 and the NSW Regional Exporters Award in 2006. BBCC was also awarded the Gold Taste Award for its Lemon Macadamia Shortbread in 2006 and Sticky Date & Ginger cookie in 2005.
